Looking Back at Callie’s Early Life

I decided to post some pix from Callie’s early life for her birthday.  Here’s one of her doggie mama…

and one of Callie at two weeks, when we first got to see our first Golden baby…

Callie @ 2 Weeks

Five weeks later, we brought her home.  She had an ingrown eyelash on her lower left lid.  Her breeder offered us a different puppy, or a free second puppy.  We didn’t want either.  We just wanted Callie, so we got our deposit back (even though we didn’t really want it), and brought her home.  Here she is checking out the kitchen floor…

The returned deposit paid for the “nip and tuck” surgery our vet did on that lower eyelash so that it wouldn’t bother any more.  To this day, you’d never know she ever had that surgery.

I’ll post more pix next week.  If you’re losing your heart now, wait until you see next week’s edition.

Callie’s mother was beautiful and Callie was a cutie puppy. For some reason the link to this post in the linky was broken. I fixed it, but sorry I did not notice sooner. I had to pick Storm up from the vet last night (she had a dental cleaning yesterday) and am just now finishing up visiting hoppers. Hopefully people will be able to find your post now that the link is fixed. 🙂 Thanks for joining the hop!
