Holy Dogs!! I just can’t seem to catch a break lately! BUT I REFUSE TO LET IT GET ME DOWN!

First I had Ducky’s “upset tummy episodes”….we have a temporary fix there with the Metoclopromide. Hopefully, we’ll be able to wean her off of it in a month’s time.

Then there was Shadow and her own upset “episodes”. The Metronaidozole seems to have helped her this time.

Now it’s Callie who’s sick. She was sick early this morning so I had to wake hubby to get him to take the dogs outside while I cleaned up. (We have very untrustworthy neighbors on one side so either one of us or a pet sitter has to be outside with the dogs at ALL times.).

Well, I said I’m not going to let this get me down and I’m not. Ducky seems fine, even though she was eating some grass outside earlier. And I still have two of Shadow’s Metronaidozole tablets left, so I’ll just give her one today and one tomorrow. A comedy of communication errors yesterday — mostly my own fault — prevented me from getting a new bottle of them. Thankfully, Shadow’s tummy appears to be back to normal so I’ll pick up that bottle on Monday.

Callie seems to be feeling at least a little bit better now. But now that hubby’s home, I’m going to take my big girl to the emergency vet to have her checked over. Our regular vet is out of town this weekend or I’d call him. But after yesterday’s glitch, I am not going to bother him.

So, any and all positive thoughts and energy will be greatly appreciated! Off I go to get my canine soul mate to the doctor.

Hope y’all have a tail-wagging day!!

Ugh, when it rains it really does pour doesn’t it? I hope you got some good answers at the vet today. Did they figure out what was causing Ducky’s issues? Thinking of you and hoping things get completely better soon. You should at least have your “three bad things” out of the way now, right?

Let’s hope this is the end of the insanity for now! As for Ducky, it’s going to be trial-by-error I’m afraid. The good news is that it’s not an obstruction of any kind. Callie had a touch of colitis this morning, but some Metronaidozole should take care of it by tomorrow morning.

Definitely! And, I’m convinced now that Callie’s and Shadow’s bouts of colitis — and possibly Ducky’s GI issue — are definitely related. But that’s “fodder” for a separate post.
